MONARCH DECONSTRUCTED

My pattern Monarch includes instructions for a reversible cable cowl or scarf. This is the cowl done in Malabrigo Merino Worsted. I love these felted buttons available at Purl Soho... This one-skein project has diagonal ends shaped with short rows and the button holes formed with the gap in the center of the cable twist. The scarf is just a longer version of the cowl done in Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage. There are pull through slots so the scarf does not have to be tied.
