This stole is your next "go-to" accessory.  It wears like a beautiful textile wrap that you can't believe was hand knit.  The color work is done using slip-stitch Mosaic technique, working with only one color at a time, perfect for intermediate knitters or those who are new to colorwork.  The yarn is a luxurious blend of US born, bred and milled Merino Wool combined with Mulberry Silk that has just the right amount of softness, sheen and shows stitch pattern beautifully.  The vibrant, saturated colors are hand-dyed by Elemental Affects yarn company.  This kit produces an heirloom-quality garment that is not just another project.

Elemental Affects Civility Sport (70% US merino wool, 30% mulberry silk; 400 yds / 365 m per 112 g skein):

  • 4 skeins of Midnight
  • 1 skein of Oyster
  • 1 mini-skein of Amethyst

NEEDLES (not included)

US size 5 (3.75 mm) 40" / 100 cm or longer circular needle to accommodate large number of sts

US size 7 (4.5 mm) 40" / 100 cm or longer circular needle to accommodate large number of sts
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

This kit includes 3 shades of sport weight yarn and a PDF download pattern. 

Does NOT include knitting needles and printed pattern.

Patterns are in PDF format. You will be able to download your pattern direct after checkout and through an emailed link. Patterns purchased from Pam Powers Knits will be stored under your account and can be downloaded at any time. You will also be given the option to store your pattern in your Ravelry library after checkout.

Yardage Information

Gauge is extremely important for all of our patterns.  The yardage for yarn included in our knitting kits is based on the amount of yarn required to make the sample plus an additional 15%. 

If your row and/or stitch gauge is larger than what is listed on the pattern, you may not have enough yarn to complete your project.  If you require more yarn, additional yarn is available at the regular per skein cost and will be shipped to you free of charge.
