      YARN:
      • Big Bad Wool Weepaca (50% fine washable merino, 50% baby alpaca; 95 yds / 86 m per 50 g skein): 1 skein each of 2 colors
      NEEDLES:                                                                                                      
        • US size 6 / 4.0 mm straight needles
        Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
        NOTIONS:
        • Tapestry needle
        • Stitch markers
        • Crochet hook (medium size, for Provisional Cast-On)
        GAUGE:
        • 24 sts and 38 rows = 4’’ (10 cm) in garter st, blocked
        GAUGE:
        28 sts and 30 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Herringbone Pattern
